COLLECTIONS
NPFDB Resource
Centre provide a wide variety of information resources collection to
fulfill the information needs of the user. With the rapid expansion of
information and knowledge nowadays, libraries are the center of
excellence to create, identify, collect, organize, share, adapt and use
of the information and knowledge. All collections use the Dewey Decimal
Classification to provide the convenience and reliable access and
retrieval of the information. Libraries collections includes:
General
Collections
General collections are general, multi-disciplinary reading materials.
Open Shelves
Collection
Open shelves collection which can be borrowed by users according to user
category
Reference
collections
Reference materials such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories,
bibliographies, yearbooks and reports are available . As a rule, these
collections will remain as non-circulated items.
Red-Spot
Collections (Recommended Books Collection)
Highly recommended reference materials by NPFDB staff. (2 hours) This
collections can be viewed only in the library.
Serials
(Periodicals) Collection
Serials Collection refers to the periodical publications purchased and
subscribed by Library. Serials collection includes journals, magazines,
bulletins and newsletters.
